"how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him." Acts 10:38,

Peter has a hungry audience and begins to preach the gospel to Cornelius and his friends. But look at the crux of it! His summary of Jesus ministry is covered in this verse - Jesus went about doing good and healing people! Well - we can all do good - it is simply a choice to be kind, caring and compassionate. However - we cannot heal broken hearts and broken bodies except we have the ANOINTING of God on our lives! Notice he says Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit AND power! I have been under the anointing of the Holy Spirit often - no doubt you have too! But whether that anointing is turned into POWER that heals bodies and changes lives is a different story!

Friends - I want to encourage you to not only receive the anointing of the Spirit on your life but to learn to RELEASE that anointing and target those who have been oppressed by the devil! I am more convinced than ever that the world needs more than a WORD gospel. The world is sick of words and creeds.

What the world needs is an army of God that is brimming over with the ANOINTING that releases POWER to heal, to set captives free, blind eyes seeing, lame men walking, marriages healed, broken hearts mended! Amen. Next time you sense the anointing of the Spirit around you - ask "Lord - what would you have me to do?" Listen to His voice and obey. WooHoo! An army of God will arise with healing in their hands! God bless
